Solo walks are a one to one service where your dog has my exclusive attention.
Come rain or shine your dog deserves the best and I make sure they get it. My dog walks are tailored to provide a perfect blend of play, socialisation, exercise, and exploration, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience.
Solo walks are suited to dogs who may for one reason or another, not be suited to a group walk.
This may be because they don't walk well with or feel anxious or nervous around other dogs. It may be because they have poor recall skills or are too young for group walks as they have a lack of social experience.
There is never any judgement on owners or dogs who need that one to one dog walk, here at lead the way I would prefer my dogs to be happy and content and for us to both enjoy the walk without any interference.
During my free meet and greet, every detail will be discussed and we will determine what is best for your dog.
Please note that I only offer solo walks outside of peak walking times to maintain availability to my group walking clients.
Please contact me for further details about this and availability options.
Group walks are made up of carefully selected dogs who I know will bond well together and create a happy and fulfilled dog walking experience. Not only for the dogs, but for me too!
In these walks, I will bring together dogs from different homes, into small manageable groups where they can play, sniff and explore together!
Group walks are a perfect opportunity for your dog to develop social skills, friendships and be mentally stimulated.
Dogs will not be thrown into the group walks straight away, I will gain a bond with the dog first on solo walks and get to know them and their temperament before I introduce them to the pack.
Remember not every dog is suited to a group walk as interactions between dogs can be complex. There are several factors as to why I would and wouldn't introduce them to group walk, which will all be communicated back to the owner where we can discuss the best option for your dog.
If you would like to book in with me for a dog walk, whether that be a one off walk or regular weekly walks, the next step would be to book in for a complimentary meet and greet.
This allows me to introduce myself and also gives your dog an opportunity to have a sniff and ease into getting to know an unfamiliar face. Majority of the time the dog will decide for you whether I'm a match or not!
We can use the time to discuss any specific needs and requirements that your dog may have, and decide what service you require moving forward.
